Joomla 1.5 WordPress Integration

Joomla is my favorite Content Management System and WordPress is my favorite blog. Unfortunately, until recently, there has not been a way to easily integrate WordPress into Joomla. Worst Web Host I’ve Encountered

I normally don’t write negative reviews, but I just spent the last several days wrestling with the worst web site host I have encountered in my 14 years of website development. Favicon Generator: Review of Dynamic Drives’ Favicon Creator

Favicons are those little icons that appear next to the url in modern web browsers. A few years ago, it was a real pain to create one of these things. Niether Photoshop or Illustrator could export an icon into the correct format for favicon.ico. There were numerous tools you could download (usually Windows only) that would do the job, but they were clunky. I used to waste about an hour each time I created one. (more…)

I had a unique request from a client. Instead of protecting Joomla content using Joomla’s user registration method, the client wanted to password protect a specific page, and he didn’t want to require that the user register.
