This is a question my clients ask all the time, so here it is: How to change your Joomla Password.

Joomla 1.5 makes it pretty easy to turn on SSL for your whole site, for individual pages, or for administrators only. See our new Joomla tutorial: Turn on SSL for Joomla Website.

With Joomla, you can restrict front end access to individual menu items. For example, you can limit access to content linked to your menu, say, for Registered users only. Once you do this, a user will have to log in before they can access the link’s content. Click here to read how to restrict access to a Joomla menu item or Joomla Link.

Has your Joomla website been hacked? If not, you’re lucky. A client called me last week because her Joomla site had been hacked. There were several weak security issues that might have allowed the hackers to get in, and there are a few simple things she could have done t0 prevent it. (more…)
