Joomla 1.5 includes a Flash file uploader that makes it easy to upload a lot of image files at once. Unfortunately, if you keep your browser updated, then you probably have the Flash 10 plugin, and this plugin will prevent the Joomla Flash Uploader from working. Read on to find out how to fix it.

You can do two things to work around this problem:

• Go to Site > Global Configuration > System and select No for the Enable Flash Uploader
• Install the latest version of the JCE Editor and get the Image Manager Extended plugin; the Image Manager plugin has it’s own flash uploader and it works!
