JCal Pro Bug: Latest Events Does Not Work with Joomla 1.5.6

I just spent several hours trying to figure out why the JCal Pro Latest Events Module would not display events, even though there were events to be displayed.

After searching the JCal Pro forum, through dozens of questions, most of which are NOT answered, I stumbled upon the problem: JCal Pro Latest Events module DOES NOT WORK WITH JOOMLA 1.5.6. Once I updated the client’s site to Joomla 1.5.15, Jcal Pro Latest Events worked. Hope this saves you some time. Also note that there is no warning, in bold red letters, to tell you that you must have a specific version of Jooma 1.5 anywhere obvious on their website!

I am very disappointed with the JCal Pro support, which is: there is no support. OK, I understand that just because you pay for a Joomla extension doesn’t mean you get support. But after searching their forums many times and finding that most questions are unanswered, I will be less than willing to buy another subscription to Jcal Pro. For a commercial module, they should at least monitor their forum AND answer unanswered questions.
