To remove a link from the Joomla menu

1.	From the Administrator screen, click Menu > <menu name> Joomla displays the Menu Manager screen.

2.	Click the checkbox next to the menu item you want to delete and then click the Trash button. Joomla deletes the menu item.

3.	If you want to remove the menu item from the menu, but keep it in the menu manager, click the check mark in the Published column for the menu item. Joomla unpublishes the menu item but keeps it. You can add it back to the menu by clicking the red x in the published column.
