Safari Reading List Bookmark Sync iCloud

August 15, 2012 by Pat Fortino

I recently added several web pages to my Safari Reading List on my iPad. When I opened Safari on my Mac, I noticed that the new Reading List pages were not in my Mac Safari Reading List. Here’s a quick fix if you are having iCloud Safari Bookmark syncing problems.

Safari on your Mac is Not Synching Bookmarks

  1. From the dock, select System Preferences > iCloud.
  2. Uncheck Bookmarks and then click Show All.
  3. From the System Preference main screen, click iCloud.
  4. Click Bookmarks.
You will see a message asking if you want to merge your Mac bookmark with those stored on iCloud.
  5. Click Merge.
  6. Open Safari and see if your Bookmarks and Reading List entries are synced  with iCloud.
