Use the Joomla Language Manager to Modify Joomla Text

February 26, 2012 by Pat Fortino

  • Click the search result you want to use and Joomla automatically populates the Language Constant and Text fields.
  • Modify the Text field. For example, replace Name with Full Name.
  • Click Save and then view the Contact form.
  • You should see your changes on the Contact form.

  • Note: If you know the language constant, you can enter it in the Language Constant field and then enter the new text in the Text field and click Save.
